Christmas is a time for fun and joy… as well as catching up on your favorite shows and movies with the family. With all of the media you want being spread across a host of services, how can you keep everyone occupied this Christmas? Using a combination of easy tricks, you can get all of your holiday fun for free.
Netflix is best for TV shows, but their movie selection is a little lacking. Their service will only set you back a small monthly fee if you want to use it permanently. But, they also offer a free trial. The trial lasts a month, which is perfect if you only want it for Christmas. If you’re sneaky enough, you can even setup a new trial every month.
Amazon charges a yearly fee for access to their media, but, like Netflix, you can get a month of free trial. In some areas, their trial is limited to certain movies. So, you may need to use a VPN if you want to get it for free over Christmas.
It gets tiring listening to the same old Christmas CDs every year. You can spice up your listening experience this year, by using Spotify. You can use it to find holiday songs from your favorite artists or avoid Christmas music all together.
Spotify has an entirely free version, but you are limited to 5 listens per song, and you’ll hear occasional adverts. They also have a paid trial, which is usually £1 or $1. This trial lasts for three months, and you have unlimited ad-free access. Once the trial is done, they charge a monthly subscription. But, just like Amazon and Netflix, you can recur the paid trial with new accounts.
You see a lot of websites offering to let you watch free movies online. Most of the time, these services are illegally run. The chance of getting caught using an illegal site is fairly slim, but it’s still best to make sure that you are above board. If you find a free movie site, just do a bit of research and see if they’re up together.
Now that’s sorted, you only have to figure out food, presents, and decoration! Hopefully, this will give you ideas to keep the loved ones entertained this year, and into the future. Happy Holidays!
