PandaVita were kind enough to give me the chance to review their 100% pure organic baobab powder. I always struggle to eat properly, especially since I’m vegetarian, I’m more conscious of what I eat. The fruit powder is 100% organic and natural, zero added ingredients.
More antioxidants than blueberries
4 times more potassium than bananas
2 times the amount of calcium you get from a glass of milk
More iron than spinach
Rich in magnesium, fibre and prebiotics
There’s a ton of way to consume this healthy powder. You can simply put 1-2 teaspoons of baobab fruit powder in water, fruit juice or a smoothie. Or you can sprinkle it over your cereals, granola or yoghurt. You can also bake with it!! Use it in cake, energy balls, and granola bar, add it to salad dressing!
What I thought about it:
I’m someone who is a bit conservative, okay, a lot, with food. I don’t try new food easily. But I was curious about this one and since there’s a ton of way to consume it and disguise the taste if you don’t like it, then I thought I would give it a try. The baobab fruit powder is tasty and tangy; it’s a citrusy flavour, which I like. I love everything with citrusy flavours! I’m excited to try it out in different recipes!
My favorite way to use it: In a smoothie with strawberries and bananas or in my granola with soy “yogurt”.
Try it yourself!
