2015 was a year where I finally did what I have to do for myself. I took a year without pay from my 9 to 5 job. I decided that I was going to try making a living for myself doing what I like the most; being an entrepreneur. I have been contemplating the possibilities of opening my own shop to sell all kind of handmade goods. I wanted to bring my jewelry business to the next level too. After months of thinking and planning, I finally found the right place to start my shop.
Follow my little girl dream and open the shop has been the most exciting achievement I have done, but also the biggest challenge I had to face. I’ll get back to that in another post.
While I was super busy with the shop, I had no time to take care of my jewelry business or even just create, which is was got me started in that mad adventure in the first place!
During the summer I did hiking, lots of hiking. I love how nature is so calming. I went for walks a few times per week to unwind and relax; I found that it’s the best way for me to deal with my anxiety. Also, I doing all those hikes with the best man I could imagine – and we got married too this year!! Woot! – We just talk talk talk and relax and hiking has been excellent for our relationship. It is great quality time together and we plan on doing more and longer hikes this year J
2015 has ended in total chaos as I decided to pause my adventure with the shop. And there I am, trying to figure out what’s next…
